The Grand Bend Yacht Club is located on River Road, one street south of Main Street. River Road is located between both sets of Traffic Lights. If you are at the Corner of Highway 21 and Highway 81/Main Street heading towards the beach, Make a left at the intersection and then turn right onto River Road, which is just past the Ausable River Bridge.

How to Drive to Grand Bend
Grand Bend is located between Bayfield and Port Franks along Highway 21, which runs along the lake. Grand Bend is approximately 1 hour NW of London, Ontario. To determine driving directions, we suggest you use Yahoo Maps

Travelling by Boat

Grand Bend is located on the southern portion of the Lake Huron shoreline on the Canadian side. By water, we are approximately 65km from Sarnia, 48km from Goderich and 64km from Port Sanilac, MI. Be sure that when traveling from Sarnia, to check your charts and stay out in open water near Kettle Point to avoid colliding with kettles in the water and running aground.

If you are using a GPS, you can set a waypoint for:
Latitude: 43° 18' 54.77" N
Longitude: 81° 46' 27.87" W
These coordinates will place you approximately 750m in front of the channel in Grand Bend.

A noticeable landmark on the Grand Bend shoreline are the condos on the beach. These condos can bee seen for kilometres on the water and are considered a good aid to find Grand Bend.

As you enter the channel, try to stay close to the center of the channel (if possible) as the water does become pretty shallow, especially if you have a deep keel. After entering the channel, you will see the Grand Bend Harbour and gas docks on the right side of the river. As you continue down the river, you will reach the Grand Bend Yacht Club. We are just past the Launch ramp on the right side of the river.
